Unwrap a winter of fun with Camp -inspired After School Programs at
Local parent Angie Kunz enrolled her daughter in Camp for the first time this past summer and was impressed by the diverse course offerings and incredible staff.
Now, Angie and families in Kelowna and Penticton have the opportunity to introduce their kids to education-focused programs with the expansion of Camp from summer camps to include After School Programs beginning in January 2025.
"I chose Camp for my daughter because there were several programs that fit her interests,” shares Angie. “She had such a great experience at Camp , enjoyed all the different activities with her camps and even made some new friends. We're excited to learn that is now offering Camp -inspired after school programming!”
Inspired by the popularity of the annual Camp kids’ camps, is excited to announce a winter full of fun and learning with its brand-new After School Programs for kids and parents. Kids can experience some of the hands-on, creative and beloved classes from Camp in a fun, structured after-school setting that will introduce them to skills they could use later in life.
Designed for students in Grades 1-3, 4-6, and 7-9, the programs aim to inspire curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning in a structured and supportive environment on the Kelowna and Penticton campuses of . Each 18-hour program, offered between January and April 2025, will immerse students in hands-on activities covering a range of engaging themes, from LEGO® Bot Builders and Chef Camp to Theatre and DJ Groove School.
“Each year that Camp has run, we’ve seen this incredible enthusiasm and creativity from the kids on our campuses and we wanted to extend that energy into the school year,” says Danelle Greebe, Director of Continuing Studies and Corporate Training at . “Our new After School Programs are designed to captivate and challenge young minds, offering a unique combination of fun, learning, and personal growth.”
Parents and guardians can enrol their children for just $239 (plus materials). Spaces are limited, and early registration is recommended. Each program runs weekly for 12 weeks with most beginning after 4:15 p.m.
