welcomes new member to Board of Governors
A local business leader has been appointed to ’s Board of Governors.
Dustyn Baulkham, a Kelowna-based entrepreneur, has been appointed for a one-year term to the Board.
“ is pleased to welcome Dustyn to our Board of Governors,” says Juliette Cunningham, board chair. “He brings experience and skills to the table that will be valuable as we continue in our Mission to transform lives and communities.”
Baulkham is the founder and CEO of Rebellious Unicorns, an events, broadcasting, and media production company in Kelowna. Previously, he was the general manager of the Kelowna Pride Society and the executive director of the Arts Council of the Central Okanagan. He holds a Bachelor of Management from UBC Okanagan.
“I’m excited and honoured to be appointed to the Board of Governors,” Baulkham says. “The commitment to putting students first at and to strengthening the College’s role as a leader in equity, diversity, inclusion and social justice is something I value very much, and I look forward to the year ahead.”
Baulkham joins Chair Cunningham, and the 11 other members of the Board of Governors: Dale Safinuk, vice chair; Neil Fassina, president; Andrea Alexander; Marcel Beerkens; JoAnn Fowler; Annika Kirk; Tina Lee; Choi Leong; Devin Rubadeau; Karley Scott and Education Council Chair, Danny Marques.
